Stormy Hill, MD, OTR/L
Owner
Stormy has owned and operated Busy Bee since its inception in 2010. What began as just her with a few schools has blossomed into an incredible team of OT's and COTA's that provide exceptional school-based OT services all over UT.
When not running the team, Stormy can be found doing anything outdoors. She is the proud mom to a wonderful son. She is so grateful for this one life we have and the fabulous team that is Busy Bee.

Emily Colby Carter
Outreach and Finance Director
Emily has worked with Busy Bee for over 8 years. She loves being able to support the amazing therapy team. She enjoys connecting with schools to provide OT services and finding new ways to use technology to support the staff. In her spare time, Emily loves to read and be on the beach.

Cathy Bliss, OTR/L
OT Director
Cathy has been with Busy Bee Therapy for 10 years. In addition to her love for her work, she also enjoys tennis and golf. She has translated some of her OT skills into teaching foundational tennis skills to children 10 and under. Cathy is married with two daughters who are thriving. She loves the work-family life dynamic that she is able to experience working for Busy Bee Therapy.

Susan Barrett, OTR/L, ASDCS
Lead OT
Susan has over 30 years of experience in school-based Occupational Therapy. She specializes in behavioral services, life skills and transitional programing, among other things.
Susan views herself as an independence facilitator. She believes all students can be successful, and has spent her career facilitating them to realize this dream. Susan is married to an amazing retired Jazz professor of Woodwinds. Together they have 4 children and she recently became a “Grammy”. She currently is a volunteer co-coordinator for her local region for National History Day. She also enjoys theater; having spent many years as a high school and community drama director. Susan loves to problem solve and create things whether crafting or creating new programs or activities. On those rare occasions when she has free time, you can find her down by the creek with a good book.

Susan Gale, COTA/L
Lead COTA
Susan has been working with school aged children since her graduation from SLCC in 2018. She is passionate about, and loves helping students achieve their best in the school setting and helping them be set up for success in the future whether that is through improved fine motor ability (hand writing) or learning self-regulation.
She is a mother of three adult children with Autism Spectrum Disorder and has learned personally the need and importance for sensory and self regulation. She understands that all behavior is communication and that learning what is being communicated is the first step to understanding behavior.

Chesnee Clingman, OTR/L
OT
Chesnee recently graduated with her doctorate in Occupational Therapy from UNLV and is so excited to start her dream career of school-based OT! She is originally from a small town in Nevada but went to college in St. George, Utah, where she received my bachelor's degree in Exercise Science. This is also where she met her husband and fell in love with the beauty of Utah. On the weekends, she enjoys being outdoors with her family, playing pickleball, and tending to her large collection of house plants. She fell in love with OT because of the holistic nature of this profession, making sure we leave no stone unturned when it comes to helping people and reaching their full potential.

Jessica Stenis, OTR/L
Lead COTA
Jessica studied Dance at the University of Central Oklahoma. She soon decided she wanted to help people have the best quality of life they can and earned her Master's of Occupational Therapy at Texas woman's University in Houston, Texas. She worked as a school based Occupational Therapist in Colorado for seven years before moving to the Salt Lake Valley to be closer to family. She loves animals, music, somatics, and dance.

Shaylee Ewing, OTR/L
OT
Shaylee received her doctoral degree in occupational therapy from Touro University. This is her second year working with Busy Bee Therapy Services. She has a history of working with kids of all ages as a dance instructor over the last decade. She loved the transition of bringing her passion of working with kids and combining it with occupational therapy. She wants to help people live their most successful lives.

Adrianne Monson, COTA/L
COTA/L
Adrianne Monson (COTA) has worked with children with disabilities in a variety of settings for over 20 years. She loves working with kids and helping them gain confidence in their abilities. She wants her students to know that with practice and patience we can all do hard things.
Adrianne loves to think creatively to solve problems and also to make learning things more enjoyable and fun.

Alex Wardell, COTA/L
COTA/L
Alex has been with Busy Bee Therapy for 7 years and loves being a COTA! She has worked in pediatrics for her whole career with a wide variety of diagnoses including developmental delay, Down Syndrome, Autism and sensory processing disorder. She enjoys working with students of all abilities to help them realize their potential and thrive independently. Her favorite thing about working with children is getting to know their personalities and including their likes and hobbies into activities and conversation. Behind the scenes, Alex is a wife and mom to 2 toddlers, who keep her on her toes! She loves musicals, Disney, and dates with her husband.

Anna Rojas, COTA/L

Anna has worked in the healthcare industry for 17 years and is enjoying every minute of it! She started working as an Occupational Therapy Assistant because she loves watching the growth and progress of people around her. She is a mother, musician, and enjoys martial arts.

Janelle Boekweg, COTA/L
COTA/L
Janelle grew up in Roy, Utah and has lived in Texas and Georgia. She is so excited to be working with the Busy Bee Therapy team.She has worked as a COTA for over 16 years and graduated with her OTA degree from Navarro College in Corsicana, Texas. She also recently graduated with her bachelor’s degree from the University of Cincinnati. She is really excited to be involved in school-based therapy and see the kids progress and grow. She has a wonderful husband of 25 years and three daughters. She is a huge bookworm, a big fan of Harry Potter and chocolate.

Janessa Hansen, COTA/L
COTA/L
Janessa graduated from Salt Lake Community College in May 2023. She discovered a passion for working with children in high school when she was a karate instructor. Since then, Janessa has participated in an internship in a therapeutic preschool classroom, worked as a summer camp director for children with developmental disabilities, and worked as a direct support professional for adults and children with disabilities. She is planning to attend Utah State University in Spring 2025 to study communicative disorders and then get her Master's degree in Occupational Therapy. Outside of OT, her hobbies include reading, gardening, rock climbing, dancing and spending time with my pets.

Jessica Simkins, COTA/L

Jessica has been working with school-age children and elderly adults since graduating from Joyce University in 2023. She has always been passionate about the medical field, but OT hit home the most. Jessica loves helping others to become their best self and to be able to achieve their goals so they can live their lives to the fullest! Jessica has been married to her spouse Jarrett for 19 years. Together they have 4 kids; 3 girls and 1 boy. In their spare time they love to see the world through travel, or spending time together outdoors.

Missy Reynolds, COTA/L

Missy has been practicing pediatric OT for 8 years. Missy loves creating treatment activities that are fun and engaging. She is especially passionate about the effectiveness of OT in the school setting. Born and raised in Utah, she loves spending time with her family, playing with her dog and taking trips to Bear Lake.

Monica Chiarenza, COTA/L
COTA
Monica is new to our team as of August 2024. She earned her Associates Degree at Kent State University in Ohio. She started her career working at Ohio State University Medical Center and rehab center before moving to Utah. In Utah, she worked for St. Mark's Hospital. Monica has spent countless hours as a school volunteer, substitute teacher and teacher’s aide. She loves working with students and is excited to use her OT skills with Busy Bee Therapy.
When Monica is not working she spends time with her family. She is married with one teenager and two young adult kids. She enjoys reading, baking, camping, and photographing her two miniature schnauzers.
